We have arrived!

After 36 hours of travel from Austin Texas, to Washington D.C., to Frankfort Germany, and finally to New Delhi India, we have arrived. At the airport we were greeted by our gracious hosts, with a bouquet of flowers for each of us. This was particularly nice of them since it was 3 o’clock in the morning. We loaded a bus and headed to our hotel. We are staying in the Taj Mahal Hotel, which is extraordinary. We were greeted by a host of people who welcomed us with fresh juice. A young woman put a “bindi” on our foreheads (red dot). Despite the hour we posed for pictures. We finally settled down about 4:30 a.m. Check out the hotel at http://www.tajhotels.com.
